Shopware case studies: real challenges, shipped solutions.

Five Shopware 6 projects, each with a measurable outcome you can verify. From a 33-hour product import shrunk to under 3 hours, to zero-touch B2B fulfillment, to a custom tender platform that replaced PDF chaos. Shipped by a Certified Shopware Developer.

Each case study below comes from real client work. Where details are sensitive, names are omitted but the technical specifics and outcomes are real.

Stack across these projects: Shopware 6.6 and 6.7, Symfony, PHP 8.2+, DBAL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and a healthy distrust of black-box plugins. Most projects shipped solo; larger builds (B2B platform, tender bidding) ran with a tight client team.

Why only five? Because every entry below is something I can walk you through end-to-end: architecture choices, what broke, what we measured.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to what most prospects ask before reaching out.

How do you measure case-study results?
Every metric on this page comes from production telemetry: import duration, queue throughput, manual touchpoints. No "up to X%" copy. Where raw numbers can't be shared due to NDA, the percentages and multipliers come from before/after measurement against a documented baseline.
Why aren't client logos shown?
Some clients are under NDA; others don't want their internal tooling stack public. The site favors verifiable technical detail over decorative logos. If you want a direct reference, ask and I'll connect you to a past client where appropriate.
Do you take on small projects?
Yes. The Admin Guard plugin (one-day build) and the notification module rescue (a couple of weeks) are both on this page. If the work is well-scoped, it doesn't need to be six months long.
Can you reproduce the 11x import speed-up on my store?
It depends on your bottleneck. If your import is CPU-bound on a single-threaded transform, similar wins are realistic. If it's I/O-bound on a slow upstream API, the playbook is different. Send the import script and I'll tell you which case applies.
What's your engagement model?
Mostly fixed-scope project work with weekly check-ins, sometimes a retainer for ongoing maintenance. Hourly only for short audits. See the engagement section on the homepage for the current set of options.
